Machinery Program General Information 

Aims: Two-year associate degree education is given in the Machinery Program. Students who graduate from the Machinery Program have the title of "Machinery Technician". The goal fo thie program is to provide students with the following knowledge and skills to play a role between the engineer and the technician in the industry.

  • Basic mechanical and control systems,
  • Computer aided design and drawing,
  • Program preparation and use of machines for numerically controlled machines,
  • Machining and chipless manufacturing methods and machine tools,
  • Hydraulic-Pneumatic control systems theory and applications and circuit designs,
  • Measuring, control techniques and destructive and non-destructive inspection methods,
  • Business discipline, management and organization principles,
  • Production and planning techniques,
  • Theoretical and practical information about machine education,
  • Introducing new technologies suitable for the changing conditions of the day.

 

OBJECTIVES:  

The program aims to train technical staff who 

1. Have basic knowledge about engineering sciences,

2. Have machine technical drawing knowledge, can do computer aided drawing

3. Know the manufacturing processes and know their computer-aided applications,

4. Recognize and use hydraulic and pneumatic circuit elements,

5. Recognize and use control and control elements of mechanical systems,

6. Have basic mechanical and material knowledge,

7. Can make mechanical measurements related to the field,

8. Have the ability to maintain and repair mechanical systems,

9. Adopt the total quality philosophy and able to support related institutional processes,

10. Are knowledgeable in business management and occupational safety related to the profession,

11. Have sufficient knowledge of mathematics in the professional field,

12. have an intermediate level of English in their profession.
